1 of 4: Something I found out recently...
The clock is definitely ticking fast, isn't it? The end of the 1st Quarter of this school year is fast approaching and there are tons of things that I have experienced within the two months of learning. Come and let's explore my adventure in the past days.
I'm growing acclimated to what we call "the new normal" as the pandemic progresses. The new normal things that I already perceive as a normal now are our education systems, the quarantine, the mandatory use of face mask and face shield, and of course the mandatory staying at home guideline. I found out that the mental health and emotional health of people are very important these days. I discovered that socializing with friends and family can be really helpful to alleviate the boredom we are feeling.
Even though I'm used to our educational system, the distress and frustration I'm experiencing are difficult to ignore. However, activities such as interacting with others, participating in Karate trainings, and participating in virtual tournaments can all contribute in reducing stress. Recently, I've developed a mobile game addiction that has become a distraction from my modules and also became the source of my sleep deprivation. I was able to overcome my addiction by self-discipline and refraining myself from using my phone.
Moving forward, I intend to study diligently and honestly in order to attain my life goals without regrets or hesitations. I'll do everything I can to change my toxic mindset and fill my life with positive vibes. What are your thoughts? What has been your first-quarter experience this school year? Let's discuss yours!
